Law School (LLM), Kennedy School of Government or Harvard Business School graduates who return to Mexico and are employed full-time, under payroll, in the public sector, a non-profit dedicated to social service or an academic institution for a minimum of  three consecutive years will be elegible for the conversion of loan assistance to scholarship upon completion of the three year employment requirement. The Fundacion retains the right to determine validity of such employment within the realm of our policy. July 1st (termination of the grace period) determines the status of employment under this policy.

In the case whereby the employment criteria is met, the loan will continue to be in a grace period for principal payments and interest will not accrue for the duration of the candidates’ three year consecutive employment. (It must be noted that contractually interest accrues from the date of disbursement, considered to be October 1st. of each academic year, to the conclusion of the grace period defined as one year after graduation) .

Employment in the aforementioned areas less than three years will render the loan payable under the contract’s original terms.
